"Hometown Glow is bluesy, soulful, original music from the heart of the Midwest. Soaring vocals and harmonies, creative chord progressions, choppy funk guitar, huge piano/organ sounds, and showstopping drums. All handmade, the sound that Hometown Glow creates is tightly composed and uplifting, tempered with just enough wiggle room to celebrate the art of improvisation. With impressive command of their instruments, they create complex sonic scenes while staying connected to earth through catchy melodies and composing. Listeners encounter what has been described as 'Grateful Dead meets Stevie Wonder' and a live show that is sure to satisfy music purists, self-proclaimed American Idol vocal judges, cigar chomping blues-meisters, and jam band parking lot party patrons. Hometown Glow's freshman album was played live and direct in the studio simultaneously. Refusing to use special effects, auto-tune, drum sample scrubbing, excessive overdubs and other studio deception, they created a celebration of live music performance. What's more is they plan on release one album every year for 3 years! The first album is available for free will donation at hometownglow.bandcamp.com - Bandcamp.com Featured Artist , March 2013

"I had the pleasure of recording Hometown Glow this past week here at Cathouse Studios. There were no drum samples and no Autotune used. This is real musicians playing real instruments, real well. Oh yeah, the sound is great too!" - Mike Dresch, Cathouse Studios, April 2013 www.cathousestudios.com

"Really nice sound (and production) by these young and talented musicians - from my home town of Sioux Falls, SD. "We play music to perpetuate more music". What more could you ask for from these humble servants of tone? Not since the likes of Spooncat have the local airwaves been graced by such original groove." - Lee Mckenna, Community Radio Group Broadcasting, July 2013 www.crgb.us

"We were thrilled to have Hometown Glow on The White Wall Sessions, their energy was quite evident in their recording. They have a positive, upbeat vibe, which really comes out when creating their music! Very talented and professional musicians." - Jeff Zeuger, Executive Producer -The White Wall Session (Television Series) thewhitewallsessions.com
